About Me
My name is Michaela. I've always had a deep passion for food and nutrition. I studied at the Culinary Institute of America, graduating in 2018, and then went on to work as a pastry cook in multiple Michelin starred kitchens in New York City. Most recently, I have worked in the front of house serving guests. My combined culinary and hospitality experience allows me to understand the difference that a well prepared meal made with love can make.
After welcoming my first son, I was fortunate to have the loving support of my mother. A skilled cook, she lovingly prepared nourishing soups and broths, ensuring I was well-fed and cared for during that demanding time. This experience deeply impacted me. I realized how invaluable that support was, especially in a city like New York where access to family and community can be limited for many. This inspired me to create a space where other mothers can receive the same level of care and feel nurtured and empowered on their motherhood journey.
I witnessed firsthand the importance of proper nutrition for both mother and baby, and I am passionate about supporting other women on this incredible journey.
This experience led me to pursue more knowledge in the field and I can happily say I am now a certified nutrition consultant through the Oh Baby Academy, specializing in pregnancy and postpartum nutrition.
My mission is to empower women to prioritize their health during this transformative period of matrescence. I believe that motherhood should be a time of joy and nourishment, and I'm dedicated to helping you feel loved and supported through personalized nutrition plans, ready made meals prepared in your own home, and guidance to make this journey easier and more enjoyable.
